Last week we began publishing our findings from recent fieldwork. This process will continue as we prepare for the commencement of our major operation in November.
Distinct patterns have emerged for the locative urbanist who is convinced that other forces are at play in the city. The master codemaker draws upon references to the past and future hinting at a conspiracy originating in a place called Ludea. Meanwhile the crossmedia ecologist sees all of this as a big game and continues to play in urban space.
So, the territory is revealed. Our territory. This is where we play. On this map.
Right now, it is up to you to identify sites for play. Look for forgotten zones, transient places, inbetween spaces, game realms … spaces for codemaking, realms for crossmedia ecologies, and zones for the World Machine. What Will You Find?
Download the map, print it and mark on it a site for a play. Place it directly into our mailbox in Flanigan Lane, Melbourne. We will recognise your contribution. All valid maps received by COB next Wednesday 20th October will be sent 9 tokens of Ludean currency ($9 LdT) by return mail so include a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope (SASE).
One final thing – the map is somewhat incomplete. Report to us any glitches or inconsistencies it has with your experience immediately.
Good luck!
