The Master Codemaker Speaks
On behalf of the micronation of Ludea I invoke Melbourne’s Septaquintaquinquecentennial anniversary.
In the language of Ludea, a third language you have yet to learn, I honour the City’s codemakers of old, Rebus Stroller (1836) and Bold Herde Tö (1837).
It was these guild masters who wrote and activated the algorithm that would generate the program that we now call Melbourne. When the script began its first iteration (known as Operation 001) all Ludeans marveled as a world and a reality came into being. They proclaimed ecstatically, “Orbiter, it’s us!”
It will be the task of the Master Codemaker to introduce you to the ways and iconic languages of Ludea. For now I will continue to translate these languages into the letters you are familiar with.
And so, play Melbourne.
